The Avanti IP3015D comes equipped with 2 10/100 based RJ45 jacks. One jack (middle jack) connects the Avanti IP3015D to a Cable Modem, LAN, WAN or DSL connection. The second 10/100 jack is a switched connection allowing a user to connect their PC or Laptop through the Avanti IP3015D.
The Avanti IP3015D supports IEEE 802.3AF Power over LAN. If Power over LAN is not used each Avanti IP3015D must have an Avanti Add-on desktop power supply. In the future the third RJ45 jack is for connecting add on units such as SLT Adapter or Trunk Add-on Module.
The Avanti IP3015D is easy to install.
A comprehensive menu integrated into the Avanti IP3015D makes programming the IP address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway addresses a simple process. |
